What began as Trunk Funk Sound System with DJ Smiley and JD on percussion, has morphed into The Free Agents – with the addition of saxaphone/horns from guest players Tim Bos and Matt Sammutt and a more mainstream/party setlist perfectly suited to venues, corporate events and private functions.
The Free Agents are a legitimate alternative to a cover band. The collective gives you the best of both worlds – all the original tracks you know and love mixed by a talented DJ, plus a live music experience with drums, percussion, saxophone/horns, and MCs. This is why The Free Agents have enjoyed repeat bookings by corporate clients such as Harcourts Real Estate and Harris Real Estate for their Awards celebrations in the short time the group has been together under this new moniker.
